The Overgrips are heated fabric wraps which can be velcroed around handlebars, control bars or anywhere that a heated grip is required. Substantial velcro and rubberised backing prevent the Overgrips from slipping but they can still be removed easily when not required by unwrapping and disconnecting from the wiring harness.
The Overgrips will heat up quicker than conventional heated rubber grips to a temperature of approx 60 - 70 oC, which is more than enough to be felt through thick gloves. The effectiveness of the Overgrips can be enhanced further if used in conjunction with some sort of wind deflector to minimise windchill.
